Justin Oltz is joining the Injen Family!

Injen Technology is growing to all new heights. To further assist this growth, we are excited to announce the addition of Justin Oltz as our Executive Vice President. Justin kick-started his passion for the automotive world at a young age. Growing up in Florida, Justin had access to everything an automotive nut loves - from go-karts, jet skis, drift cars to drag racing. He had the weather and the access to grow his passion.

So it makes perfect sense that - after graduating from the University of Florida with his Masters Degree in International Business - Justin put that passion to work in the custom calibration equipment field.  Starting out at Eastek International – a global contract manufacturing firm - in 2005, it did not take long for Justin to prove himself and work his way up the ladder.  With several years of international manufacturing and sales experience under his belt, Justin joined the management team at SCT Performance – where he helped setup and lead several of the organizations divisions, including its international department, and the fast-growing fleet business.

Justin re-located from Asia (his home for 8 years) to Florida in 2013 to assist in the sale of SCT to new private equity partners, The Global Environment Fund, and has since spent an average of 300 days a year on the road developing partnerships for the company's growing list of brands – including Bullydog Technologies and Derive Efficiency.

Justin Oltz will be joining the Injen Team on February 15th, 2017.  “Justin will be a major player in the future of Injen Technology. He is bringing a lot of knowledge and experience to the table,” said Ron Delgado, CEO of Injen.  “Not only will he be helping us develop the international market, but the overall growth of Injen moving forward.”

“I’ve been fortunate to know Ron and the Injen team, and to have watched their growth over the past decade,” said Justin Oltz.  “I’m excited to join the Injen family, and to work with our talented team members - as well as our valued supplier and industry partners – to deliver the very best solutions to our growing, loyal customer base.

Please help us welcome Justin to the Injen Family. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for more information.

Here is to a great future, Welcome aboard Justin!

Thanks! from Racer Jasen Harmon...

To all my Amazing Friends and Sponsors,
First off,  I need to say a huge thanks to DSM Motorsports and Southwest Racing Engines.
Without them I literally would not have made it to this race.  Steve rebuilt my motor even though he was in pain (true racer - doing whatever it takes).  Dean and Mike volunteered their time to help get the new motor installed and running on point.  They even worked on it while I  was unable to assist, which in my eyes is a true act of great sportsmanship. They are all great friends!!!

It was a struggle for this one down to the day we left.  We had no test time on the new motor or the new suspension adjustments we made from the previous races AT ALL.  It was a "break the truck in on the pre-run" kinda race.  Even with the lack of thorough prep, the truck took home the win.
Race Day: I felt very confident with the truck, given the team I had backing me.  Unfortunately, on Lap 3 we ran into some unforeseen power steering issues that Dean, Mike, Bob, and myself were able to get fixed  for Day 2.
Day 2, Start Line: 2 miles off the line we are getting caught by the trophy truck that started about 11 mins ahead of us, dust galore!!!  Half way through the first lap my co-dog is throwing up in his helmet!!!!!  My first thought is, “OMG, my harnesses and seats! Well, he’s in for a really long day because I'm not stopping !”

Everything is fine until Lap 3: We are doing about 70mph, and we see a Class 1 car coming.  I pull to the left for about a 2 mile stretch, which gave him a complete right lane to go through. At the last minute, I realize he is bushwhacking on my left side.  Needless to say, my front tire met his back tires causing damage to my truck.  I will say, as much as it was an uncalled for and irresponsible move on his part, he saved it. I have never before seen the undercarriage of a Class 1 car at 70mph. There’s always a  first time though!

On Lap 5 with 6 miles to the finish: I lose both power steering and brakes, but we limped in anyway for the win and finish.
This year has been amazing and I want to thank each and everyone of you that chased my silly ass around the desert, and stuck with me even when it wasn't fun. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - I couldn't have done it without each and every one of you...

Jasen Harmon

California EPA Exempts Injen's Cyborg Air Intake Systems... List of Vehicles and Intakes Now Cleared for California!

Injen Technology's Cold Air Intake Systems have been given an exemption by the California Environmental Protection Agency under section 27156 of the California Vehicle Code.  They have issued EXECUTIVE ORDER D-476-8:

IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED:  That the installation of the Cyborg Intake Systems, produced and marketed by Injen Technology of 244 Pioneer Place, Pomona CA 91768 has been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the applicable vehicle pollution control systems and, therefore, is exempt from the prohibitions of Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code for the vehicles listed in the Attached Exhibit A.

This exemption is based on cold start emissions testing conducted on a 2013 Fiat 500 with a 1.4L engine, and a 2014 Subaru BRZ with a 2.0L engine.

The following is a list of Injen Technology Cold Air Intakes now covered under this Executive Order.
